More About Robert Rogers

Robert spent a young life in Oklahoma and finished his teen years in an improvised environment in California. He earned a degree in Speech at the University of California, completed ROTC, and entered the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant Infantry Officer. While in the Army, he earned a Master of Arts degree at Northern Illinois University. He was promoted to Major and served two tours in a combat environment in the Vietnam War. He was awarded a Silver Star for Gallantry in Action. He completed his Army career as a Lieutenant Colonel. He began to write short fictional novels and a series of poem books expressing his feelings concerning love and the relationships of men and women. His intent is to write books that are relevant to the life of the reader.
